The man from snowy River Bush Festival

​The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival (MFSRBF), a celebration of all things Australian bush heritage and folklore, attracts thousands to the Victorian High Country in April each year. For 29 years now, tucked away in the shadow of the Snowy Mountains, The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival has brought people together from all over the country to celebrate our Australian bush heritage, culture and mateship.

 

With the first Inaugural event held in 1967, the now 4-day experience which attracts thousands of attendees will be marking the 30th anniversary in 2025. The flagship events include a 9-event MFSR Stockman’s Challenge, a live MFSR Re-enactment (of the Poem), MFSR Rodeo and 5-day Riley’s Ride Re-enactment. 

 

The Festival brings people together to share in the celebrate traditional Australian bush heritage in a beautiful, largely untouched landscape. Whether visitors come for a week, a weekend or a day they find the setting unchanged from Banjo’s visit; the mountain ranges are just as spectacular, the valleys as beautiful and the fast running rivers as dramatic.

New to the MFSRBF in 2024 was the use of videography and we were excited to move into this space with them.
